Belated Intro

Mary, thanks for the nudge and sorry it took me so long to get over here!

Pen name: uisge beatha (which is gaelic for whiskey of the Scottish variety -- as if there were any other kind!! -- in case you were wondering)

Stories: In the buffyverse there's Manifest Destiny (WIP), Raising the Stakes (WIP), For Times Gone By, Four Voices, a few drabbles here and there and even a poem that Eurydice used in her last story. You'll have to bribe me big time to get me to spill about past fandoms I've written in and how long ago that was :)

Personal: Single, but always on the look-out for a man who is willing to keep me in a manner in which I'd love to become accustomed to. I own a townhouse outside of DC, but work in town, so commuting is a nightmare -- but it does give me plenty of time to read fics. My job is interesting, but, unfortunately, very time-consuming so I don't have as much time for fanfun as I'd like. I share my house with a loverly roommate and three beasts of the canine variety. I am totally out of the closet when it comes to my fannish activities, except there are some people who don't know the "ratings" of some of my stories. Heh Heh. In my non-existant spare-time I read fan fic, quilt, clean up after dogs, and occasionally write.

What I'd Like to See at Get-Together: I too am very open as to the agenda. I really do want to get to know all the wonderful and talented authors that thrill me with their stories. I will go with whatever flow comes along :)
